My brother in laws and I go up every year for the last five years and we visit the Mercantile and the Northern lights saloon after a day on the river fishing it is one of our favorite places in Montana to visit. The Mercantile has a great breakfast sandwich that is wrapped in dough and with a cup of polebridge blend coffee, man oh man what a great morning it will be.

One of our favorite day trips from Kalispell, summer or winter. The pastry treats are always worth the trip. We have also attended the sled dog races in March a couple of times and we always bring visitors up to see “The Merc”.

We arrived back in polebridge once again on Jan. 2,2015 it was so awesome with all the snow and the Merc. Did not disappoint with all it’s hot food, soup and buns, we had a wonderful time see you in the fall when we will fly fish and visit the Northern lights for dinner.

3 years ago we were staying at the Lodge on the lake in Whitefish. The valets asked where we were going while we were out and we said we were going up to Bowman Lake. When they found out where we were going they got together $73.00 and told us to buy as many cookies as we could. They even called you to make sure you would stay open till we got there. it was sooooo worth the trip. You have the best pastries in the world. I can’t wait to get back there one day.
